We began several months ago... during a routine stay in the settlement of Brindol, we were enjoying ourselves at a local tavern when the town was invaded by a band of goblin raiders. Several townspeople were taken hostage and brought to Rivenroar, the hideout of Sinruth... a goblin leader who was attempting to resurrect the fabled Red Hand, which ironically enough was defeated at the modern day location of Brindol. The group of adventurers managed to rescue the surviving townsfolk and defeat Sinruth, but their involvement would eventually lead them to realize how dire the threat to Eberron was.

After enjoying the fruits of their victory, and reveling in their newfound fame, news came from the dwarven outpost of Bodrin's Watch. This fortress had long held back orcish invaders from overrunning the city of Overlook, but was now being threatened by an army more organized than they had every seen. On their way to assist in the defenses, they encountered an advance party of orcish warriors... signalling that some had found an alternate path around the defenses. After a discussion with Overlook's Council, they are informed of the existence of tunnels beneath Boridin's Watch... and the council believes they have been compromised.
The party travelled to the Monastery of the Sundered Chain, and found the priests massacred to a person... infuriating each of them, but most of all Mordal. After clearing the Monastery of enemies, and seeing to the proper disposal of the bodies of the slain clergy, they met Kalad... a dwarven Paladin who had been single handedly holding off the orcish hordes from the tunnels. Kalad and the party sealed the tunnel, but he suspected an area called "The Vents" may also be compromised. They parted ways, and the party headed into The Vents to investigate. After fighting their way to an area known as the Nexus, they flooded The Vents with boiling water and just managed to escape. Having yet again triumphed, the heroes became quite famous among the townspeople of Overlook.

In celebration of the victory over the Orcish Armies, a great tournament was held between heroes from across the land... and monsters of great power. Buckwheat emerged victorious after defeating Darakai in the final match, and won an apartment in Overlook.

Currently the party is in the Shadowfell, having pursued a dark creeper named Modra who had been responsible for selling weapons to the invaders. Unfortunately, when they enter via a portal they find themselves in the camp of Sarshan... a Shadar-Kai arms dealer who has an army of mercenaries and an impenetrable fortress. Strangely enough, the party was able to blend in as mercenaries and even gained a measure of respect and comradeship with a group of Ogres after defeating several when they were attacked. Given their newfound acceptance, they began asking for clues on the location of Modra... but nobody seemed to know where he would be(except that he would be very stupid to be nearby, as Sarshan wanted him dead). However, a shadar-kai with named Myrissa overheard the queries of the party and advised them to a plan Modra was planning on executing to disable Sarshan's operations and how to infiltrate the fortress. She asked them to give him a quick death as Sarshan certainly would not. They infiltrated The Dark Foundry, a place where Sarshan was attempting to create abominations to be used in war and stopped Modra's sabotage. Using a secret tunnel between the Foundry and Sarshan's Fortress they have just begun to infiltrate his stronghold.
